Once your package arrives, you're all set to record your moment.

Setup Option A: Live Connection

1. Scan or Type the Code

   Use your smartphone camera on the QR code, or key in the unique code found on your Instone.

2. Register Your Profile

   Open a quick account to keep track of every stone you place.

3. Publish On the Spot

   While connected, enter your details right away:

   • Drop a location pin

   • Attach your media files

   • Write your story or caption

   • Auto-link the physical piece directly to your account

4. Select Access Level

   • Public: Featured on the community world map and web directory.

   • Private: Restricted strictly to visitors who physically scan the stone in person.

Setup Option B: Offline Mode

1. Drop & Snap (No Reception)

   If you're out in the wild, off-grid, or out of range:

   • Take a quick snapshot of the QR code/memory code on your phone before placing it.

   • Securely position your Instone at your chosen point.

2. Upload Later

   When you reconnect to cell service or Wi-Fi:

   • Select the exact placement spot on the map.

   • Upload the QR code photo so the system knows which stone to activate.

   • Add your trip photos, journal entry, or narrative.

3. Complete the Connection

   Your story connects directly to the hidden stone and syncs with your personal collection.

4. Choose Visibility

   Make it discoverable on the global digital map or keep it a secret spot visible only to physical finders.
